Classes
Our Krav Maga classes are designed to help build confidence, and expand upon, the techniques and foundations one learns in our intro classes. You get more practice, and more comfort, with the combatives we went over in the intro course, and we will also learn new combatives to add to your arsenal. We will also go over self-defense techniques to teach you to deal with chokes, headlocks, and bear-hugs, and will begin introducing you to basic groundwork. We will also begin increasing the level of intensity and stress in our drills, improving your ability to function under the stress of a conflict. Time allowing, we will sometimes practice some more advanced weapons defenses.
Please note, these classes are only open to new students during the first three weeks of the semester, after which point we will be assuming all students understand the very basics coming in.
This semester (spring 2015), we'll be training at the MAC at the following times:
Sundays 3:30-5 PM and
Wednesday 6:30-8 PM.
